June 18-19-20, 2024 – Amalfi, Positano, Ravello
Sarah and Ben celebrated their love during an unforgettable weekend on the Amalfi Coast. Surrounded by breathtaking views of Ravello, Positano, and Amalfi, the couple exchanged vows in a magical atmosphere filled with laughter and tears of joy at the Caruso Belmond Hotel in Ravello.
Let’s relive this beautiful wedding through the loving and joyful words that our newlyweds wanted to share

Ben: “Our wedding was a little different than most weddings. Many would say it was untraditional and they are right. The last word I would use to describe our wedding is traditional. Sarah and I chose to have a small destination wedding in Italy. We had our ten closest family members fly across the Atlantic to be a part of a truly magical day. Our wedding did not start Wednesday, June 19th, our wedding started Saturday, June 15th when everyone boarded a plane in the United States. Everyone was tired from the travel but that did not stop the exploring and sight-seeing for the Crawford’s and Shore’s. We explored the Amalfi coast and shared a wonderful dinners with a views of the coast. Monday, we started early with a ferry ride from Amalfi to Capri. We spent the day at Capri on a boat touring the island and stopping for a swim in some of the bluest water I have ever laid my eyes on. After a long day of exploring, we finished the day off with dinner at a delicious steakhouse. This trip was filled with laughter and once in a lifetime memories we will never forget”.

Ben: “Wednesday June 19th, 2024 I married my best friend. I have dreamed of the day we got married for years. Sarah and I started dating February 3rd, 2018. I was a goofy, nerdy, awkward 16 year old and Sarah was a quiet, kind hearted, sweet, beautiful, amazing, smart, adorable 15 year old. I remember walking up to Sarah’s front door for the first time to go on our date to Calhoun’s and the movie theater. I was SO nervous. I was worried about how I looked, what I said, what I did, I was worried about everything. This awkwardness did not go away for the second or third date. It took me some time to stop being so nervous when I was around Sarah. I was nervous because I didn’t want to mess it up. She was this awesome and beautiful girl I didn’t know how to talk to. Once these nerves did settle Sarah and I were together all the time. You couldn’t keep us apart. If you had told me in high school we would get married one day I wouldn’t have been very surprised. We used to dream of the day we got married but I never dreamed our wedding day would be this magical. We got married on the Amalfi Coast in Italy surrounded by our 10 closest family members and the day couldn’t have been any better. Before the wedding I was nervous and wanted everything to go as planned but the second Sarah turned the corner and started walking down the stairs, she was the only thing I could think about. As she walked down the aisle, I couldn’t take my eyes off her. She was perfect”.

Ben: “After the ceremony, we gathered around a table and ate dinner with our closest family members. These people have all seen our relationship mature over the years into what it is today, a marriage. Hearing everyone share their perspectives on our relationship was really sweet. It brought back memories and gave me a new perspective on some things. One thing my sister Molly said in particular stuck with me. She talked about Sarah and I at the beach with my family in high school. She laughed as she talked about how I would stand in the water fishing while Sarah floated beside me holding on to my swim trunks. This is a great representation of our relationship. We do what we love together. I love to fish and Sarah loves to tan so we made a way for both of us to do so. Sarah and I are not the same person, we share many interests but also have many different interests. At the end of the day, we care about each other and want each other to be happy. We love having fun with each other, everything is better with her. We can find joy in everything when we do it together. I can’t wait to continue to make amazing memories with my wife”.

Sarah: “Arriving in Italy, I felt overwhelming excitement and anxiousness, hoping everything would be perfect on the wedding day. After arriving, we went to the beautiful Capri, ate lots of good food, and explored the city together. In these moments, the stress of everything became over shadowed by my excitement to marry my best friend. It was so fun to have the quality time with both of our families before the big day! Our families and us were able to make so many memories together that I will cherish forever. Leading up to the wedding, we had been busy graduating college, working, and moving to our first home so life had been very hectic. Once we made it to Italy, we were able to put all that work behind us. We were able to put all our focus on eachother and explore the world together! Everything is so much more beautiful when I get to share it with Ben. Although everything we saw was so beautiful, the most beautiful part of the whole trip was getting to marry my best friend. While I was getting ready for the wedding, I reminisced on our years spent together. Throughout them all, ben has made me feel loved, protected, and cared for. I couldn’t wait for him to officially be my husband, I have never been more sure about anything in my life. Standing at the top of the aisle looking down upon the ceremony, an overwhelming feeling of joy and serenity hit me. It was time. He looked so handsome standing there waiting on me to walk down. I will never forget his face as he saw me coming down the aisle, I could see pure love in his eyes. It felt like it was only the two of us on the Caruso terrace in that moment. Ben and I compliment eachother perfectly. We consistently make eachother better people while being able to understand eachother so well. We have had the privilege of being able to grow up together and I had dreamed of this day since we were in high school. It was better than i could have ever imagined! Our love grows for eachother everyday”.

Sarah: “We finished off the night with dinner and toasts where we got to reminisce on our relationship and spend intimate time with our families. It was so special getting to hear their perspectives and realizing how everyone around us is able to feel the love we have for eachother. June 19, 2024 was the best night of my life. The next day we headed out for our honeymoon. Having the opportunity to explore Europe together for 2.5 weeks was incredible and allowed us to make memories we will carry with us forever. Even with all the beautiful views we saw, good food we ate, and neat history we saw, my favorite part of the entire trip was by far getting to spend so much quality time with my husband. I can’t wait to see where life takes us, but I know I’m going to love wherever it takes us since it will be with him!”
